The Journey of Shi is a picture book storytelling project that portrays the heroine's psychological journey in a bustling city, gradually uncovering the issue of urban anxiety.
01 Inspiration
This picture book project is based on urban research. In the initial stages, my teammate LI Yizhen and I conducted research in Beijing, China, selecting appropriate scenes and concepts, and determining the story's background and development logic.
02 SKETCHES
We transformed the initial research into a clear story and visual language. Through sketches and storyboarding, the story structure took shape, and characters and scenes were defined.

03 Final ARTWORK
In the final creation stage, we refined the colors and visuals.
By differentiating the colors for "Lost," "Dream," and "Reality," we highlighted the contrast between dreams and reality.
